I’ve always been drawn to people. Not just how they look – but who they are, and what it feels like to be them. That’s what made me start drawing as a child, and it’s still what drives me as a portrait artist today.

My work is about making the invisible visible – capturing what a camera can’t: a glance, a memory, a mood. I create hand-painted portraits that feel alive. Portraits that tell stories, evoke something familiar, and create connection. A portrait can be a quiet anchor in everyday life – or a gift that expresses what words cannot.

I work with acrylic on glass and paper, and soft pastels on kraft paper. The materials are not just technical choices – they’re part of the story. I never paint on white, because the background itself shapes the atmosphere of the artwork. Transparency, layering, and texture bring depth and emotion to each piece.

Whether I paint from a photo or live at a wedding, sports event or film production, I always aim to create a process that feels personal, collaborative, and professional. You should feel seen.

In 2024, I won Denmark’s Best Portrait Painter, and since then, I’ve created portraits for private clients and professionals alike – always with a focus on human presence and an aesthetic that balances softness with edge.
